In accordance with the provisions of the University Grants Commission (Open and Distance Learning Programs and Online Programs in 2020), the University has established the Centre for Online Education (COEdn). This initiative was approved in the 74th meeting of the Executive Council conducted on September 28, 2020. On 18 February 2021, the Centre for Online Education started functioning directly under the office of the Hon-ble Vice Chancellor of Netaji Subhas Open University. The founding Officer-in-charge is Prof. Someswar Bhowmik.
