Interactive Learning Centre at Kalyani Campus
Date of Establishment: April 2015
Interactive Learning Centre was established under the aegis of erstwhile School of Humanities & Social Sciences and subsequently renamed as Language & Media Lab under the aegis of School of Humanities.
Objectives: The ILC was one of the earliest initiatives at NSOU towards introducing e-mediated learning. It was envisaged with the potential of a language laboratory, a centre for face to face as also online instruction across the network of NSOU study centres once required connectivity was attained. Subsequently, the ILC has added to its potential as a media laboratory as well under School of Humanities.
Regular Activities: PGELT & PGDELT interactive teaching-Learning, PGDJMC practical’s, Research activities, Development of audio-video learning materials.
