Women Harrassment Prevention Cell (WHPC):
In pursuance of the Supreme Court Mandate and UGC directive, Netaji Subhas Open University constituted the Women Harassment Prevention Cell (WHPC) in order to deal with complaints of sexual harassment of women employees in different campuses of the university. The Committee was functional from 07.09.2011 to 03.08.2015; later the Internal Complaints’ Committee (ICC) as constituted by appropriate authority became the relevant body to deal with complaints of the aforesaid nature.
Internal Complaints’ Committee (ICC):
In pursuance of the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and UGC directive, Netaji Subhas Open University has constituted the Internal Complaints’ Committee(ICC), vide Memo No Reg/1381 dt 04.08.2015 and reconstituted the same vide Memo No.Reg/2139 dt 31.10.2019, to deal with complaints of sexual harassment of women employees in the different campuses of the university.
