School of Education (SoE) is one of the five schools of studies at NSOU, established in the year 2013 to provide quality degree programmes/courses on Education, Teacher Education and Special Education. It stems into two academic Departments, viz., Department of Education & Department of Special Education.

The Centre for Disability Studies & Educational Research (CDSER) is the innovative centre established under the countenance of SoE in the year 2018 to conduct short-term courses (self-financed), extension programmes and community outreach activities.
+ What are the aims & objectives of CDSER?
To provide adequate professional training, orientation and capacity building to the learners for taking up responsibility in the field of Education, Special Education, Inclusive Education and Research for an inclusive society. Also organising online/offline Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, other extension activities etc.
